Adobe Air 3.5 Beta: New virtual execution environment of Adobe

Screen shot Adobe Air 3.5 BetaAdobe Air 3.5 Beta is a module for different operating systems, enabling developers to use familiar technologies, including HTML, Ajax, Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex, to build rich Internet applications and deploy them on the desktop. With Adobe Air 3.5 Beta developers can use existing skills and tools to build attractive and visually rich applications that combine the power of local resources with Internet accessibility.

Adobe Air 3.5 Beta (Adobe Integrated Runtime) is an environment to run various applications regardless of operating system.  This makes it possible to use HTML / CSS, Ajax, Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex web transfer programs (Rich Internet Applications, RIA) desktop.

Adobe, like Sun Microsystems with its virtual environment Java , has decided to create their own virtual execution environment, which has called Adobe Integrated Runtime, or what is the same, AIR.

Adobe Air 3.5 Beta allows developers to use their skills in web programming to build their own applications to the desktop based on the work already done on the Internet.

In this way, we can run on our desktop applications based on Flash, Flex, HTML, AJAX, CSS or PDF and use the advantages without having to run a web application.

Already have appeared a few applications made to run in this environment, and promising results.  All this seems to indicate that Adobe Air will be in the future a very necessary software on your PC.
